Bonnie Paul

APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (IFS) -- So this writer was relocating from Northern California to Phoenix, Arizona was like so many things that one have, he takes his recording company, his radio stations and thousands of CD's that he has been sent over the years with him.

It's very hard for an old radio man to retire and leave his best gig ever to the wind.  In the early days of Hollywood, California, this writer had the opportunity to distribute songwriters and new artist music on cassette tapes back in the early 1970's.  As time when on, it expanded to include artists that were auditioning their songs for the label.

As time marched on, many artists would deposit their songs with this writer and in turn would send them to other record labels, music publishers and movie studios for consideration.

It's times like these when unpacking, when one finds a treasure chest with young artists that have sent in their music. . . one being the Bonnie Paul.  She is one of a kind and a national treasure as an artist and actor with many credits to her career.

So on KDRC Mixtape Mondays Series, and the tribute to International Women's Month, the collection of Bonnie Paul music that was in our collection.-KHS
