GET WHAT YOU BELIEVE Daragan Daragan is the creative project of Western Australian songwriter, producer and musician Bert Giancristofaro, whose music blends thoughtful Australian storytelling with polished contemporary country production.     Daragan’s debut single, Lied On The Way In, made an impressive introduction, spending ten consecutive weeks in the Australian Alternative Country Music Chart Top 10, including six weeks at No. 1. Building on that success, Bert took his next release, Get What You Believe, to Nashville.     Co-produced by Bert and Nicky V of Nashville Tracking, the single combines Nashville-recorded instrumentation with vocals and final production completed at Kingdom Studio in Perth alongside Dom Monteleone. Featuring lead vocals from Perth country artist Keelan Rivers and pedal steel by double Grammy Award winner Lucky Oceans, Get What You Believe brings together world-class musicianship and distinctly Australian songwriting.     Written entirely by Bert, the song explores how deeply held beliefs can influence the direction of our lives. Through a story of disappointment, fractured relationships and missed opportunities, it examines the powerful consequences of the stories we tell ourselves.     The name Daragan is inspired by the Western Australian town of Dandaragan, where Bert’s mother grew up and where many of his own childhood memories were formed.

BALLARAT TO CLONCURRY Penny Burke Penny Burke is a regional Australian singer-songwriter whose music is grounded in honest storytelling, heartfelt emotion and a strong sense of place. Originally from Cloncurry in North West Queensland, Penny began singing at the age of twelve, developing the warm, unmistakably Australian style that continues to shape her music today.     Her songs celebrate family, resilience, love and the people who leave a lasting mark on our lives. In 2004, Penny released her debut EP, Local Pub, produced by acclaimed musician Stuie French at Swingin’ Doors Studio in Sydney. After time away from recording, she returned with renewed inspiration and a collection of stories built through life, travel and personal experience.     Her new release, Ballarat To Cloncurry, reflects Penny’s deep connection to regional Australia and forms part of her forthcoming album, Always Be There. The twelve-track project includes seven self-penned songs and collaborations with David and Merelyn Carter, Greg Champion, Corey Stewart, Graeme Walker and the late Lindsay Biggins.     Produced across Ritzland Music Studio and The Song Store, the album features a team of musicians.
